Events Through Tweets

MIF has been introduced to the many variations of social networking and I want to share one last thought. I received a message from the good people behind Twitter and found it to be beneficial. I quote, "As Twitter has evolved, we've gained a better understanding of how folks use the service. As a result, we've updated the Terms and we're notifying account holders. We’ve posted a brief overview on our company blog and you can read the Terms of Service online. If you haven't been by in a while, we invite you to visit Twitter to see what else is new. Overview: http://blog.twitter.com Terms: http://www.twitter.com/tos Twitter: http://www.twitter.comThese updates complement the spirit of Twitter. If the nature of our service changes, we'll revisit the Terms as necessary. Comments are welcome, please find the "feedback" link on the Terms of Service page. Thanks." I sign off leaving well wishes of productivity to MIF.

Following Events With Facebook

MIF has been properly guided with the option to set up an account using Facebook. I have some suggestions. Facebook is a method to increase social networking groups and you can count on it increasing rapidly! Associates can keep in touch with one another and it's a great way to find associates. However, Facebook for businesses does not come with a security wall from those that are not as professional to the purpose or the scope of your business. For instance, feedback can be considered as a bonus for your business because you can take the comments and utilize them as tools to strengthen and grow your company. But all who you reference or accept as your contact also have contacts that instantly become a part of your profile and all conversations may not be beneficial to the reputation for you business. In short, using Facebook can be risky business!

Total Sharing of Events of the Mobile International Festival

I am excited. We can share upcoming events of MIF with friends using Facebook and Twitter. It is a simply way to keep Bloggers tied to friends on Facebook and have readers using Twitter sharing these family events in a broader way at a faster pace with an inexpensive twist. After a few hours of study, I have learned how businesses such as MIF can now integrate Facebook and Twitter into their Google Calendar which will allow them to reach more families at one time, becoming more organized and structured for years to follow. Follow these How To Videos to open your face book and twitter accounts for your business and explore. The How to Facebook Video: http://www.ehow.com/videos-on_108_use-facebook.html and the How to Twitter Video: http://www.slideshare.net/Griner/the-twitter-tutorial. Don’t forget to customize your calendar after you have completed your set-up. More Event Organization for MIF Through Google Calendar

Finally, after the first meeting with a few staff of MIF, I am led to believe, the How To learning session will become major and quite productive for the organization. Since last year’s festival, Mobile, Alabama school system alone has made several changes in their organizational chart. Some schools have closed while newer ones have opened. Now, MIF can add or delete these listings of schools on their calendar and invite others to share calendars so they too will have upcoming dates of the Annual Mobile International Festival. MIF can also customize their calendar, by adding gadgets, pictures and creating tabs or labels as better means for customers to find them and as a sure way of viewers becoming the MIF word of mouth marketing tool on speed dial! To learn how to add Gadgets, another video demo has been posted for this purpose http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3Tr7tfbGsM.

Creation of Mobile International Festival Event Blog

The Mobile International Festival (MIF) is an annual event held one week before Thanksgiving at the Mobile Civic Center, Main Arena & Expo Hall in downtown Mobile, Alabama. It is where all can come to one area and experience the culture of 70 different countries. See for yourself... http://www.mobileinternationalfestival.org/MIF/entertai.htm, it is a fun-filled family experience! Getting the event to reach communities, schools and sponsors in a faster more innovative way has become my goal. It is suggested that MIF look into how they can use Google Calendar as a tool to reach more people. MIF can begin by studying the How to Video tutorial to get some tricks and tips at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iTsxQFvQZQ . Here the viewers will see How To: Select a Calendar for Viewing, Add Events to their Calendar, Delete Events, Invite people to their Events, Share their Calendar, and How To Accept invited guest to Share their Calendar.
